Counsellor & Psychotherapist
Andrew Matthews
MA Integrative Psychotherapy, BSc (Hons) Psychology, MBACP (Accred)
I am a integrative therapist with extensive experience helping individuals through life’s challenges. Working from Broadstairs, I offer a therapeutic approach guided by years of clinical experience in London, supporting people with a wide range of emotional and behavioural concerns. I am currently undertaking doctoral research in psychotherapy, which continues to shape and inform my practice.
Working Together
No matter the nature or duration of your concern—whether recent, longstanding, or a one-off experience—I provide a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can speak freely, reflect deeply, and feel understood.
My therapeutic approach is shaped around you and the specific challenges you face. It honours your individuality whilst gently attending to the areas of your life that feel in need of support or exploration.
I also offer therapy thoughtfully tailored for men who may find it difficult to articulate or explore their emotional needs.
Experience
I support individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including addiction, compulsive behaviours, depression, shame, guilt, and burnout.
I am especially interested in helping individuals with:
